Tribute Paid to Oklahoma During Diamond jubilee I The annual dinner theater s theme was a tribute to Oklahoma's 75th anniversary. lt featured the two stage production classes and was divided into four segments including Indians, Cowboys and Outlaws, Pioneers, and Sports. lt was the first production in the new Fine Arts building. Laura Young and Talley Thompson ileftj pose as the Pioneer Woman and Son. Below left male vocalists Phil Copeland and Trent Russell sing the popular You're the Reason God Make Oklahoma. One Acts Presented A Night of One Acts was presented by Mrs. lordan's Stage Production classes on Oct. 7, 8, and 9. The plays staged were Sorry, Wrong Number, a dramag The Leader, a social satirep a suicidal comedy called Luvp The Lamp went Out, a melodramap and TrifIes, an example of dramatic irony. Sybil Kavan lrightj helps make the transition from a comedy to a drama between acts. A worried Teresa Andrews labovel tries to get help from unwilling operators. At right, Christine Stegmann portrays an apathetic operator in Sorry, Wrong Number.

After A Long Week O School, Students . Each day of school hosts a variety of activities. After the first three hours of class, some students retreat to the library to play their favorite video games, while others concentrate on studying or eating Mrs. Fleming's famous doughnuts. But, the main activity is socializing. Either inside or out, it is exercise time for social butterflies. Then it's back to class. Some students have to brave the weather and hike over to the new Fine Arts Center or marathon over to the gym. All in all, this year's students are getting in shape.- Kristi Wade and leff Hanks iabovel cram for a test before school. Helping to celebrate Oklahoma's 75th anniversary are Kyle Killoran and johnny Hundley ltop rightl. lohan Odelberg fabove rightl explains his project to fellow Advanced Math student Sean Lunday.
