1214 PROPHECY Miss Barbara McMurphy, a High Society women and also President of the Lady Ester Cosmetic Industry, is gossiping with Jeannine Pierce, Head of the Gant WDo-Something Con- struction Cbmpany.' The conversation goes as follows: Barbara--'Have you heard about the Great Geologist, Bryan Kugel, who has just got back from prospecting for oil on the moon and is head of the Boeing Space-Ship Co. and is making simply millions?' Jeannine--WYes, but did you hear about Billy Miller now known as Barney 0'field the second, winning the Bendix 600 mile race averaging 1000 miles an hour in his 1965 super Marien Ford. After being swormed by his many fans Billy was left to the friendly undertaker, Mr. George Bobbitt, but to his disgust he only got to rush him down to old Doc. Richard Gilbert. Dick has all the medical practice in Northern Okla- homa and is still just practicing. He may learn how someday. It was not until now that Miller realized how well off he was before. Just recently I've heard that Nadean has now worked up to the position of head Mechanic in the Robison Garage of Salt Fork, and Orie Dean is the best cook you ever saw.' Barbara--'Oh that reminds me Gene Fisher, the Second Red Grange, is now a famous roaring half back at Notre Dame and Lyle Tebow has taken over Admiral Halsey's Fleet and is en- joying his job of chasing the Russian Naval Force all over the Atlantic Ocean and is singing 'Fifteen Men On the Dead Man's Chest.W Jeannine--'Bob Dorsett, a radio Producer now owning several radio net works, has just finished producing his new production staring Bob Hope in 'Went With the Wind.W Barbara--'I heard over Bob Dorsett's radio program that James Webster is now farming 'all of the land North of the Salt Fork River, and that Bill Gilbert farms all ,the land South of the River. It is heard that they have started a civil fued that makes the fued between the Martins and the McCoys seem pleasant. They are fighting over the ownership of the river bottom of the Salt Fork River. It is the big- gest Civil War since the sheepmen ran the cattlemen off. Jeannine--'Why only yesterday I heard that the Stockton Shovel Detective Agency has just put Sam Spade and Jack Dalton out of the Detective business.' Barbara--'I read in the paper that Velva Arends has chased Wallace out with a rolling pin and is now running for President as a candidate for the Progressive Party.' Jeannine--'Well, I hear Dean calling. He probably wants me to Do-Something.'
