Dccphzlx'cn has won one. This year's team was no exception. XVith two returning lcttcrmcn. Arvid Dahlbloom and lim Schmid. to bolster an already good squad. Dccp- huvcn's chances of continuing its fmc record of wins were good. This year's schedule included the following schools: Blake. St. Louis Park. Robbinsdulc. U. High. and Vuymta. Diana wVirtx. and Dick ereisner hserved their second year cheering the teams on to Victories. Starting the fnothnll schedule on the newly completed athletie held. they were with the team through a successful sea- son. The coming of the basketball season was ueemnlmnied hy the new look in uniformx. 215 the eheerleaders displayed their new maroon and gold uniforms. During the season. which lasted from Xm'ember to March. the cheerleaders. as well as the rest of the school. were plagued by an epidemic of mumps. hi the absence of :1 cheerleader.
