It is the night of our reunion for the graduating class of 1964. Some of the early arrivals are Ida Jean Womble, Sandra Clifton, Martha Causey, and Mike Johnson. While we are waiting for the others to arrive Martha is introducing us to her latest flame, who is prosperous and nice looking. She is secretary for a firm in Raleigh. Mike Johnson, a famous news correspondent for C. B. S. , strikes up a conversation with Ida Jean Womble, who is talking about horses. She and her husband, Dewey, are training horses for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Sandra Clifton joins them, and tells about her interesting experiences at the Art Advertising Agency in New York. You can tell she likes her work. Here comes Emma Kelly, with her husband Steve Cotten.Emma, head medical secretary at Walter Reed Hospital, also helps Steve with the operation of Cotten's Trucking Company. Emma tells that Pat Johnson, a private secretary to North Carolina's representative from the eighth district, is doing well. Who's this distinguished character coming toward us? Why that's Roger Millikin, who is rolling in the money as top engineer for Daniel's Construction Company, largest in the south. Fletcher Williams just roared in from Charlotte in his 427 Chevrolet. He is tuning cars these days for Holman S Moody racing stables. Sandra says that Janet Thomas, married to a rich tycoon in Chapel Hill, is now a professor of history at U.N. C. We heard that Ruth McNeill is quitting her high-paying job to get married. Clifford Stewart has been promoted to foreman of a big construction company.
