BA KETBALL 1978-7 s The 1978-79 season was a very disappointing one in that the Hornets were winless all season. Despite the record, many of the players developed many skills that will be helpful to them on next year's team. WRE TL G 1979 Undefeated and champions for the second year in a row, the Deep Creek Junior Hornets have proven that they are the Kings of junior high wres- tling in Chesapeake by winning both the seasonal and tournament cham- pionship. Only with desire, dedication, and determination from a fine group of young men has the Hornet tradition of fair-play been passed on. With eleven seventh graders returning and the interest in wrestling high, the Mighty Hornets will attempt to capture the city championship for an unprecedented third year in a row.
