FUR if X -ox 'L l R eekends w e r e made for Y l I i l l L 1 V I l 2 l When weekends roll around, Dedham High students are ready to set aside their school routine for a couple of days. By the time the 2:10 dismissal bell rings Friday after- noon the halls are buzzing with sensa- tional plans for excitement! If there happens to be a house party around town, everyone usually finds out about it, but if not there is a range of other places we can be found. Using imagination a variety of activi- ties can be uncovered around the town. Whether your idea of fun is cheering on the sports teams, seeing a movie, dancing the night away, or just being with friends it doesn't matter as long as it's entertaining. Nevertheless, a ven- ture to McDonalds, Tahiti or other lo- cal restaurants can top off the night. Yes, weekends do pass quickly! Along with the heavy social schedule, week- ends are also a time to engage in obliga- tions that should be fulfilled. This time can be used for catching up on such educational endeavors as papers to be written and books to be read by their close upcoming deadlines. Also there are those students with jobs who may have to give up some of their weekend privileges to make money for the future. In general, weekends are made for us with the freedom to choose what we want to do with them. Surely everyone has a good amount of memories of the many weekends throughout their high school years!
