-1 0:9 fit Hu - 5... April was the month chosen for our Crazy- Nlixed-lvpi' Dance with the Stardusters furnishing the music. To end a memorable year our class went to Nantasket for an outing. We were now pretty close to the top. with only one more xear hefore weid leave D. H. 5. Class elections were held in Novenilver nl ullt' Junior year. Our class saw its first girl President. Carol Sehio. ahly assisted hy Robert Winston as Vice President and Mary Jane Lyons as Secretary. John Dewar again took care of the money. Dur dance month. April. took over again and we really did use it. Our first dance Fools Frolicii with the Four Beats. was followed by April Showers. which fell. as is obvious. in April. In the latter part of March. we had started to prepare for our Junior Prom, picking committees, songs. and a theme. By May sixth everything was ready. Blue Miragew was our song. and the decora- tions were of a nautical scene. Afterwards. we went to Coral Cables for a Fried Chicken Dinner and more dancing. Do you remember the knee socks. and the her- mudas that the girls wore this yearzfand those crazy different-colored headhands? To lead our teams on In victory in our senior . 1 A.
