The Deckerville Sr. High Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. David E. Smith, had a full schedule this year preparing half time performances for six home football games. Much time and effort was put forth and the band did a fine job. They also marched in several parades and added greatly to the pep assemblies during the year. Leading the band was Drum Major James Nutzmann with Barbara Felk and Dawn Hardy as Majorettes. 21
