RAGGEDY NAN Nancy Edwards, known as Raggedy Nan, is orphaned when her father is killed. Phineas Scroggs holds a mortgage on the farm and when he forecloses it, he sends Nancy to an orphange. Nancy runs away from the orphanage and lives with Gramp Withers. Gramps keeps her secretly but a snoopy neighbor, Mrs. Finnegan, finds out. Raggedy Nan then goes into a disguise as the hired man. Tommy Wyatt falls in love with Nancy. It was found out that old man Scroggs collected a large sum of money from the insurance company for Nancy's father's death, which rightly belonged to Nancy.
