David Adams Mary Jane Andrews Sheri Affolder David Anspaugh Richard Anderson Darrell Augsburger Scott Anderson Diana August Under the leadership of their class officers—Bob DeVoss, president; Jim Brown, vice president; Marilyn Harman, secre¬ tary; Jane Jacobs, treasurer—the senior class of 1965 ex¬ perienced a very important last year at Decatur High School. The class sponsors were Mr. Herbert Feasel, art instructor, and Catherine Weidler, English and German instructor. On April 2nd the class sponsored a senior class party, which carried out a “Sadie Hawkins theme.” The seniors were entertained by the juniors with the very de¬ lightful Junior-Senior Prom, which was held Friday, May 21. Baccalaureate was held in the high school auditorium at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23. The Rev. Sylvester Martin was the guest speaker and the Rev. W. R. Watson gave the invocation. Mr. Lorin A. Burt, Associate Professor of Education at In¬ diana University spoke at Commencement Thursday, May 27. After graduation, the class participated in the all-night party, sponsored annually by the Lion’s Club. The class had its final meeting on May 28th. As classmates, we will retain fond memories of each other for the many years to come.
