THE CHOIR Like the Songs of Skylarks The choir, composed of fifty-three students, elected as their officers the following: president, Bill Bond; vice- president, Kathy Schultz; secretary, Connie Baxter; treasurer, Steve Edwards. Throughout the year the choir has made numerous appearances under the very capable direction of Miss Helen Haubold. The first appearance was in November when the choir sang for Spiritual Emphasis Week. Later the same month the Choir sang for High School Open House. A Christmas concert was given for a combined Ro¬ tary and Lions Clubs meeting. Solos were featured, in¬ cluding a song by our accompanist, Eleanor Miller. In March the choir participated in the annual Music Festival, held this year at Berne. It was a wonderful experience. In April the choir sang a group of numbers at the Art Festival. The last appearance by this choir were for Bac¬ calaureate and Commencement, with the Senior mem¬ bers, singing together for the last time, “D.H.S.” Right: At the Music Festival President, Bill Bond; vice-president, Kathy Shultz; secretary, Connie Baxter; treasurer, Steve Edwards.
