I The Ravelings Staff Guides Your Thoughts Space-Ward Themes around which to build a book should be thought provoking as well as entertaining, so we have fixed on the idea of space. We can¬ not but wonder what it would be like to wander on the moon, or to pay a visit to Venus, or to take a jaunt to Jupiter. Perhaps some one from this school will develop sufficient interest to prepare himself to become one day an inter¬ planetary traveler; to bring back to us stories of the men of Mars, or solid materials to prove the composition of the moon. Even though this drawing of attention to the great space about us, or as the poet puts it “The infinite meadows of heaven, may not lead any of you to become a traveler to far distant places, we hope the application here is adept enough to catch your attention and arouse a train of thought towards the “Wide Blue Yonder.” We hope you will enjoy this book as much as we have enjoyed developing it, and arranging it for you.
