Color Wheel Club . . . At the beginning of the 1945-46 school year, the art class of thirty-three members reorganized the Color Wheel Club, under the supervision of Miss Kauffman. The members elected the following officers: Pres., Hubert Feasel; Vice President, Bar- bara Roop; Sec.-Treas., Onalee Zimmerman. The club members planned an interest- ing year and waded into their work. One of the first activities of the year was to stencil the kitchen cupboards, curtains, and screens with beautiful morning glory designs. This project was done by Hubert Feasel and Bill Eichhorn. Marjorie Moser, Betty Baumgartner, Richard Saylors, and Jack Harker helped with the Christmas decorations, which were large religious chalk panels at each side of the stage. The club also helped with the decorations for the Spring Revue. On March the 14th, a Come-as-you-are- Party, was enjoyed by all the club mem- bers, and prizes were given to the most comically dressed. Thus ends another eventful and exciting year for the art stu- dents. Home Economics Club . The Home Economics Club was re-or- ganized the first week of school and the following girls were elected as officers: Phyllis Hoffman, president; Evelyn Fisher, vice president; Betty Baumgartner, secre- tary and treasurer. Some of the projects that gave us new and added experiences this year were the setting up of the canteen for the football games, preparing and serving a number of banquets throughout the year, and the re- making of a number of the costumes for our spring revue. Each month a different group of girls were responsible for the club ' s entertain- ment, which also proved to be an interest- ing project.
