hysteria when we won the blind tourney by one point and were defeated, also by one point, in the sectional tourney. All winter long we tramped faithfully through rain, snow, and sleet to support our players. We even pleaded tearfully with boys who had auto- mobiles to take us to the out-of-town games. (If anyone ever tells you that a man can ' t resist a woman ' s tears, don ' t believe him.) Where there ' s a will, there ' s a way, however, and many of us managed to attend most of the out-of-town games. Our contributions to the year ' s social activities were a combination Valentine party and dance and a hayride. Miss Elzey and Miss Pumphrey were chosen as our co-sponsors and the following officers were elected: Barbara Hoblet, president; Mary Leitz, vice president; Bon- nie Schieferstein, secretary; and Sally Smith, treasurer. In no tirne at all we were off to the ball games. What ball games? It doesn ' t matter to the Pep Champs. Be it football, basketball, or baseball, we support them all with the utmost enthusiasm.
