We regretted leaving Junior High and shall always remember the days spent there, but we looked forward to Senior High School and its varied activities. During our three years at Junior High we entered into many social activities and were able to attain a high scholastic record. ln 1940, our last year at Junior High, we suc- cessfully presented The Bash- ful Mr. Bobbs, a three act com- edy. ' .-Q We organized our Senior I class at Decatur Senior High and elected James Monk, presi- dent, Martha Scales, vice-presi- dent, Robert Jones, secretary, and Fletcher Eddens, treasurer. These officers aided by our sponsor, Miss Lillian Odom, led us successfully through the year. We found Mr. Jordan, better known to us as Doc, always ready to help when any prob- lems arose.
