The studies of this department not only include ancient, medieval, and modern history but also the study of current events through the use of radio, maps, and newspapers. SOCIAL STUDIES-MISS OARRETT, AND MISS ROBERTSON, ln this department the problems of society and their relation to us are studied along with their causes and possible remedies. This course also provides for its pupils the vital knowledge for a future citizen. HOME ECONOMICAMISS COCHRAN. One of the most practical courses in our curriculum is home economics. Color scheme, remodel- ing, sewing, planning meals and cooking are taught. This experience is always beneficial to students in everyday life. MUSIC-MR. HENNESSY. Contests, concerts, and fancy football game formations have grown increasingly successful as the band lays a solid foundation for a fine future. gif -
