'3 'W Y 1 f - , From the time we first opened our eyes, our attention has been riveted on faces . . .the twinkle of the eyes: the curl of the mouth that tells a tale of pleasure or displeasure: the ears that are too big or just the cutest little things you ever saw. The nose that tells of ethnic breeding . . .the desirable dimples . . .the unwanted wrinkles. . .they all make up the face. Greater than the sum of its parts, the face is the expression of the soul. However attractive the figure beneath it, we instinctively look first to the face for guidance on dealing with that person. To love, to despise, to fear, to forgive . . . lt's all in the face. The DHS student body contains a variety of faces, each playing a role in the year's events and in the make-up of 2 Opening the school's personality. Dahlem Dodson and Coach Dennis Cobb surveying the game from the sidelines . . .these are the faces, the soul of DHS 1986, the DHS we'll remember.
