WE'VE HAD PROBLEM , WE'VE HAD F UN5 WE'RE THE CLASS OF '71! at-lik Senior class officers are: Tim Higby, Presidentp Mike Daharsh, Vice Presidentg Patsy Knox, Secretary: Monty Thompson, Parliamentariang Lisa Leeman, Reporterg Karen Wilmoth, Treasurerg Donna Meigs, Historian. This year the Class of '71 faced the anxiously awaited event - their last year ofhigh school. They selected midnight blue and silver as their class colors, the honeysuckle as their class flower, their mottog Hands that work, brains that think, hearts that love. Mr. Foreman had the pleasure of being selected as their sponsor. Looking back on their past ll years at DHS, they find the memories of all the fun they've had, the friends they've made, and also, the friends they've had to say good-bye to. Re- gardless of the bad times that can't be erased, we still have the enjoyable things to re- member. A Donnie Cook and Patsy Knox were chosen as Senior Class favorites. At the beginning of their Freshman year 11967-685, they had 36 Freshman present and accounted for. Down through the years, their class has dwindled and lost many of the classmates that were once an important part of their group. Twenty-three students now characterize the Senior Class of 1971. They con- tinue in hopes of successfully reaching one of the most important steps of life - GRADUATION DAY! 1 1
