They do their part to help the school run smoothly. Mr. Tucker, Mr. Wilson, and Mr. Evans willalways be remembered for all the help they have given to students in everyday activities. The Decatur Student Body was filled with anticipation as the time for the big game drew near. Everyone was busy with their various tasks to help make the homecoming a success. The 1968-69 homecoming festivi- ties were given a touch of royality when Miss Janet Wilmoth was crowned Queen before the game. The fierce Bulldogs fought the Pea Ridge Blackhawks in a ferocious battle but the Fickle Fingers of Fate wasn't in our midst and we went down with an honorable defeat. This exciting event came to an end as the Juniors sponsored a groovy Homecoming dance.
