POST OFF ICE One of the most popular positions on board ship, the postal clerk dis- tributed our must sought after mail. It was always a toss-up whether payday or mail call was the most important single evolution in our routine, but one thing was for sure, a letter from home would brighten any day. HMC Von Poska handles sick call. SICK BAY Though our DECATURMEN WGFG blessed with good health throughout the deployment, our eorpsmen were always standing by to render aid. Sick call was usually a matter of dispensing the Navy cure-all, the aspirin, or maybe a band- aid or two.
