'l'llE LITTLE IHPPER On our journey through space we have in command our Student Council, the Little Dipper, and the Board of Education, the Big Dipper. The Student Council consists of two freshmen, three sophomores, three juniors, and four seniors. The president of each class is a member of the Student Council. The Student Council is the link between the student body and the adminstration as the Board of Education is the link between the school and the public. The Student Council meets regularly every Monday on their own time to discuss school activities and problems. The Board of Ed- ucation meets monthly and also calls special meetings to work on school operations. E English and speech were taken by both boys and girls. Class activities that played an important part in the fresh- men boys' first year on our space ship were agriculture, man- ual training, and athletics. In the early part of our flight we found on board several promising lettermen of' the future. The freshmen girls played an important part by being in home ec. They learned to sew and cook and helped serve banquets for our space crew. Many of the Dreamers parti- cipated in the music field to help entertain the rest of the n crew .
