VARSITY FOOTBALL The Hawks came through for the old Blue and Gold again this year. They won seven out of nine ball games which is the best record since Decatur was County and Mid-State Conference Champion in T952 This has been Coach Carter By- fieId's second winning season since he came here in l955. This year we not only got second in the Mid-State Conference, but sec- ond in Marion County, losing only to Speedway.
