GIRLS' ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION Membership in Decatur's Girls' Athletic Association is open to all girls enrolled in the high school. The purpose of the organization, under the direction of Mrs. Barbara Owen, is to stimulate participation in girl's ath- letics and to promote ideals of health and good sportsmanship, Bowling and swimming participation enable the girls to earn points toward a G.A.A. award. The girls sell mums, sponsor the dance and the selection of candidates for homecoming queen in the fall. They also help sell concessions at ball games.
