D-CLUB Eligibility for Decatur's D-Club is to possess a minor or major letter in any sport. The purpose of the club is to keep the athletes together in a mutual interest other than in their individual sports. A pin is given in the senior year to those who have maintained a major letter every year in a given sport. The organization, under the sponsorship of Coach Marvin Armstrong, meets once a month. They sponsored a booth at the Athletic Carnival last fall. A sock hop also was under their sponsorship.

To raise money during the year, Decatur Sunshiners sell doughnuts each Tuesday and Thursday after school. The profit goes into the Riley .
