.W ,Z fi ' fxw -BV Mrs. Vickie Pierson, school secretary, is assisted by senior girls in the office. CLASS HISTORY The years have come and gone and suddenly we are seniors. At last it's time to initiate the in- coming freshmenl We had a good time and we hope that they did too, they were wonderful sports. This year a new car was born-the l958 Edsel -presented by the Ford Motor Company. Sputnik! That's what they called the Russian Satellite that traveled in its orbit around the earth. Rock 'N Roll and Elvis Presley had their day. The big sports event of every year is Home- coming. Nancy Ross, senior, was queen for l957. The senior class float won the prize for having the most originality. Terry Neher was chosen as the most valuable football player of the year l957. A lot of work, but it was funl was among the comments heard as members of the senior class presented the play. Marty Record was chosen to receive the Daughter of the American Revolution Citizenship Award from Decatur. Competing in the National Semi-Finals of the National Merit Scholarship were Jay Atkinson and Milton Bernard. We ore very proud of the outstanding achievements of all these students. As we graduate from these familiar holls, our formal education is completed. lt is our ambition, however5 that learning will never cease5 that we will go on to become respected citizens of this community which has given us so much.
