Each summer the Lion's Club sponsors a township fair at the school. At that time the members exhibit their finished products for which they receive township ribbons. The fair is always enjoyed by everyone. Mrs. Baker heads the girls' clubs. She is assisted by several adult leaders and junior leaders. Mr. Adamson heads the boys' clubs. He is assisted by several former 4-H members who now farm in our community. The junior leaders attend county meetings at the Purdue Marrott Center in Indianapolis. The meetings are held monthly and there is fun for all. We certainly are proud of our 4-H clubs here at Decatur Township.

Middle Down: Amos Mills, Larry Kugelman. Hi-Y is a club for boys who wish to be- long to a young boys' Christian society. It is associated with the Y.M.C.A. Denny Cummings, Darrell Underwood and Larry Kugelman attended the Fall Re- treat Hi-Y Camp at Flatrock. This year's officers were: President - Denny Cummings, Vice President - Ray Stan- ley, Treasurer - Amos Mills, Secretary - Ed Bryan, Sergeant-at arms - Larry Kugelman, Chaplain - Jim Newsom. Each spring the organization sends re- presentatives to the Model United Nations, At Christmas, several of the boys helped to set up the decorations at Decatur and West Newton Grade School. At West Newton, they fixed an outdoor movie screen, and the story of Christmas was automatically shown every night for people passing by in their cars. Mr. Jackson is the sponsor and we believe that the boys really derive a great deal of good out of this club.
