- - - Freshman lmtuatlon Some of the stunts were: a tug of war, seniors against freshmeng wheel-barrow racesg relay racesg the boys climbed greased goal postsg the shovel races, and at the end of the ceremony the freshmen bowed to the seniors as a salute to them. The senior class thought the fresh- men were pretty swell themselves. Dale Williams, Margaret Duvall, and Mr. Rankin acted as directors. Dale represented the Student Council and Margaret, the class. Twenty-seven seniors showed up with their cars, so the freshmen had a busy time. Some of the girls experienced wearing onions around their necks for the first time. Good luck to all future seniors and fresh- men on their inititions. 5. This was the first year that the front steps were cleaned with tooth brushes. The kids did a pretty good job, too - it was a mess! 6. Find your shoes and socks, kids. Aren't seniors mean? But it was all in fun. 7. Ennis Pyle seemed unable to find his shoes. He wasn't the only one. 8. Have you ever tried the great dish of melted baking chocolate marshmallows. These kids have, and blindfolded at that!
