I Deruffzr Tube Thee Greerzufood' was the theme of the senior class float which won first place. On the float are Larry Kugelman and Janet Eller. Memorable Event Decatur Cenrral's Hawks came through with their first win of the season. The vic- tory, offsetting the Homecoming activities, was scored as an upset over favored Greenwood. Greenwood won the toss and elected to receive. On Greenwood's second down, Larry McGill knocked down an important pass. The first quarter was scoreless, but Greenwood gained 101 yards to Decatur's 60. Decatur outmarched them in the second quarter by 90 to 25 but since there was no score in that quarter either, the score stood at the half at 0 to O. Paul Larrison took the ball for Decatur to start the second half and returned it for ll yards. The Hawk's moved 70 yards for their first touchdown with Larrison and Richard Clarkson alternating at carrying the ball. The score came on a 30 yard run by Larrison. The running try for the extra point was stopped. Paul Larrison scored again in the fourth quarter. The point was blocked. Final Score: Decatur 12 Greenwood 0 Decatur Win-D Game was the title of the junior class float which took second place. On the float are Clair Freeman and Karen Eller. We chopped the Woodmerz d0u'r2. The sophomore class depicted the scene on their float. Victory Around the World is represented by the freshman class. 11

Goes On The cast, under the direction of Mrs. McGowan and Mrs. Van Campen gave two stirring performances.
