Ill. S ILICLIGIUX ENGLISH HISTORY LATIN NVHAT IVE DO Ignorance is the Knowledge the wing Religion is the most important of all our studies. It is to give us the opportunity of studying religion that We have a Catholic school. Father Hennes, together with the Sisters, has given us much spiritual training. Through his teaching We have learned to love our religion. Hence, he well deserves the grati- tude of every class. The correct usage of the English language, debating, appreciation for the drama and other forms of liter- ature are the chief topics of the English classes. Sister Barbara, our new teacher of English literature, has already endeared herself to our hearts. We feel that her efforts to further our knowledge of English have not been in vain. Sister Rosemary has taken every class on an imaginative journey to another section of the United Stat- es. She is the instructor in history, civics, and social problems. The classes have e nj o y e d these jour- neys, even if they were stormy at times, and wish to thank their lead- er for the safe return home. The freshmen and sophomores have studied, under the direction of Sister A g n e s Terese, the ancient language and r e m a i n s of Rome.
