I 0 . 1.-l. O I A FORE-SIGHT AND AN AFTER-THOUGHT:- I I It will not be long until we shall be out on the sea of life, steering our own ship. . O - Undoubtedly, we have all had a little experience on the caves and bays that indent , I the shore, but we have too little knowledge of the world and its ways to venture I I farther, upon what seems to us to be a tempestuous sea. - ' We shall, without a doubt, find that the world is far more stormy and tempestuous I I than we inagined. We shall discover little undercurrents carrying our ships ashoreg : I or wild, choppy waves dashing against and over our frail hull, or, perhaps, even sword 1 : fish puncturing the thin bottom of our boat. I Q With the prospects of such battles ahead, our high school education becomes more I f valuable each day. If we can cope successfully with the situations that will arise in f ' our lives then we have in part accomplished our purpose in life. It is easily seen that : f anything that will help us in these battles will be invaluabeg and that is just what a f . high school education. if used to good advantage, will do. 1 I Now these precious days of preparation for a successful career are over for the .
