FOOT OF SPIRIT The Varsity Cheerleaders, with the exception of Susan Waldron, attended Cheerleading camp at the U of I, and held raffles to raise money for their funds They were invited to cheer at a Vandal game on High School night. The J.V. ' s went to Cheerleading camp, with the exception of Melody Ostman, at Whitworth college in Spokane, WA, They raffled a quilt over the summer and they will all go out for dinner after the season is over. Spirit week occurs just before basketball tournaments with a dif- ferent contest each day. Sales from candy sticks and T-shirts raise money for the annual Mother ' s Tea, All members are expected to participate in the activities They must also attend the games to cheer on the team.
