INTRAMURALS The intramural program in- cluded hockey for girls, with bowling and aerial darts. Minor sports are represented by baseball and cross-country. The cross-country boys were undefeated in five dual and one triangular meet, the losers be- ing Lincoln Park, Wyandotte, Ypsilanti, Hazel Park, River Rouge, and Royal Oak. The team was runner-up for State championship, having won second place. They be- came league champions for the fifth time in 12 years. Awards were made to Harold Denison, captain, Roy Stafford, captain- elect, Lee Winnard, Charles Gay, Richard Beers, George Nesbitt, Joe Dalton, Jack Tem- plin, Gerald Bryson, Robert Niethamer, Edward Fitzpat- rick, and William Treleaven. Special mention went to Roy Stafford who tied Jim Reid’s flat course record of 9:09 . . . IH1AIRIRDEIR8
