DEAN ACADEMY-CLASS PROPHECY lt was a cool fall day this November 15th, Homecoming l963, and the chimes ringing out from the ivy tower across the colorful campus brought back many memories to WAYNE ARIOLA, now president oi the Syracuse F. B. I., and IOE EAGER now doing research on elephants in New York. They were sitting on the steps leading to Awpie Way just thinking of all the old times and telling of the present news oi their classmates of 53 ! Of course, the first thing that came to their minds was the class couple, ROCKY and DIANE. Were they married? Of course, their ambition was certainly achieved. Then they thought of the 99 average in Algebra, PHIL GORDON, Where was he and what was he doing? Well the class was right when they voted him most likely to succeed. His ambition was to be a successful business man and now he is president of the UNDERWOOD Typewriting Co. His right hand managers are BOB WHELEN and DICK REBILLARD, and GARDNER HUBBARD and BOB CAIN are his top salesmen. While speaking of Phil, of course they thought immediately of TONY IA- CUELE, Phil's roommate. Tony was now a football coach at LaSalle Academy. We hear he is starting on his own private football team with six boys of his own. Somehow talking about football the subject was turned to BOB BOGAN, what was he doing? Well it may seem phenomenal but Bob had established a new academy in Clinton where the rules are pretty rigid and only one week- end pass a month is allowed. At his academy HARRY SHAW is the English teacher and BARBARA REICHENBACH is Dean of Women. MARILYN KIN- NEY is the teacher in the dormitory. IACKIE LYNCH is teaching Sociology. As truant officers Bob has employed SANDY MCDERMOTT and CYNTHIA RAY. judging from a report on secondary schools, Bogan's Building for Back- ward Boys has earned itself quite a reputation for producing educated Icy Boys. Say, Ioe, do you remember PIZE IOHNSONTP, Well, he has opened a store across the street from GARZONES. I guess he's doing pretty well at least when the Dean boys are in town. Wayne, when you stop and think about it, our class has really been out- standing. Remember those two buddies, BOB CORNELL and BOB CANTO- REGGI? Well, they are co-presidents oi Wellesley College, they have really taken an interest in their job I understand. HANK PONIATOWSKI is still at Deang he was made headwaiter and he really enjoys his work. ELSIE TALBOT, by the way, is the new Dietitian. Speaking of some of the kids who stayed at Dean, FANCHON GLASS came back two years ago as the school psycologist and NINA BOUCHER is the school nurse. Talking about the school nurse makes me think of the in- firmary, and the infirmary makes me think of LINNIE DOLAN. What is she doing now? lust what she always wanted to, lead a happy life in South America. page 1',fty-5iX Nineteen Fifty three
