Murray, Brown, Ray, Sokol. GLEE CLUB DEAN'S GLEE CLUB played a large part in the Christmas program and also gave a very interesting performance at Easter tirne. On April 20th they journeyed to Hartford under the direction of Mr. Kendall Harney. Then came the main event of the year, when the club staged its oper- etta on May 19th. This program included the operettas Annie Get Your Gun, Mikado, and Brigadoon --these operettas have become a tradition which will never be forgotten by Dean stude ts. FOOTLIGHTERS WE ARE PROUD to say the Dramatic Club of the year 1951 was a success, under the capable guidance of Miss Shelburne. They started off the year with two comedies, Saved from the Fate of Her Sister and The Triplinq Place. During the Christmas Vespers a Wonderful presentation of The Child is Born was performed. In April the senior class play Iar1uary Thaw was a huqe success and enjoyed by all. This play left a pleasant memory in the minds of all who saw it. C-IT CLUB THE C-IT CLUB, one of the most thoroughly enjoyed clubs at Dean, was very active during the early part of this year. The club, composed of all Dean students interested in the theatre, viewed Death of a Salesman, and Romeo and Iu1iet.
