Bob had trouble deciding whether to go to college or stay at Dean during mid-term. His final decision was to stay at Dean, which made everybody happy. His friendly, nonchalant manner was typical of Bob no matter where he was. With his sports ability and per- sonality, we know Bob will make good at anything he wfAf TVh'lfyb tt' does. RICHARD TORCHIA Dick Swansea, Mass. CULLEGE: Columbia AMBITION: Pharmacist ACTIVITIES: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Dramatics. FAVORITE MEMORY: Meeting Chuck MOST SUCCESSFUL ENDEAVOR: Plcyinq the hero in The Faith oi I'ler Sister. Dick, the 'tDurfee Flashfi kept the third floor jump- ing. His leadership ability which was displayed in the Inter-floor Water Fight, along with his line of gab misht some day make Dick a senator. Dick's good humor and pleasant personality made him everybody's friend. His sports ability was widened here at Dean when he took up ping-pong under Phil's guidance. MOST SUCCESSFUL ENDEAVOR: Coming to Dean. Joe was one of the few students who came to Dean at the mid-term. However, it was not long before Joe had made many friends. His basketball ability was quick- ly accepted on the team. With your good nature and friendly ways we know that you cannot help but be a success. ACADEMY-CLASS PROPHECY LUIS PAGES-is now Venezuela's new ambassador to America and is speak- ing wonderful English, thanks to his training at Dean. PHIL HODGSON-has recently become owner of a string of tenement houses in the Bowery. Phil believes in starting from the bottom. MICKEY COHEN-is now a wealthy man. Psychoanalyzing Dean students, es- pecially the Class of Sl has done well for Mickey. WALLY LOHR-is now starring with the beautiful Esther Williams in the aqua- extravaganza Life Begins Submerged. ARACBERBERIAN-can be found driving trucks for the almost defunct Brink's orp. RUSS MURRAY-is world renowned in baseball for winning the world series for the St. Louis Cardinals in the crucial game by pitching a no hit no run game. SKI RUMSEY-is the first player-coach since Lou Boudreau. MAC MACALLISTER-is now owner of the largest truck garden farm in New England. BOB BUNTING-famed metallurgist, is now making bullet proof vests for the underworld. lOl-IN LEROY-the famous philanthropist, has bequeath Sl,OOU,0OO to Dean Academy for repairs. AVERY COOK-is now commander of the famous friga'e U. S. S. Constitution which has just been recommissioned for use in the present crisis. IOI-IN CIMEROL-famous trumpeter, is now co-starring with Evelyn in Phil Spitalny's All Girl Orchestra. FRANK DIPIETRO-who is now playing for the Cleveland Brown, is pro-foot- ball's highest paid player. He has placed the bakery business in the hands of his good friend LOUIE SARDELLA. HI HO-the famous engineer, is now reconstructing the great wall of China. DICK BELL-who finally crashed radio, can now be heard announcing the sta- tion breaks on N. B. C. Bong! Bong! Bong! THORNY LYMAN-famous chemist, has discovered a fluid that when applied to baseballs is repelled by wood. He is now planning to become a major league pitcher. LARRY ROCI-IE-who ten years ago was sworn in as our class president, has been appointed to the White House. Reforms are due. CHET SWENSON-is now head of the famed Swenson Smooth Sailing Steam- ship Line. IOHN HORWITZ-can now be found in Florida for the defense of his world heavyweight crown. PAUL MCCORMICK-whose ambition was the foreign service, can now be found in French Morocco as the comrnandant of the French Foreign Legion. BILL BOUDROT-finally accomplishing his ambition to own his own business, is now head of the anti numbers racket in the Milton area. TIMMY WALKER'-is now the director of athletics at Way Below Normal Prep. CHARLIE BOWSE-has been commissioned by the town of Concord to paint straight white lines down its main street. RONNIE CONNOLLY-after marrying into a wealthy family was given the position as the head of the United Shoe Machine Corporation, his motto: Shoes will be cheaper. CHARLIE MCDERMOTT-can now be found on any radio station playing the organ and accompanied by Ethel Smith. DON RISTAINO-ace photographer in Europe, now can be found selling pic- tures to Life magazine. ZEKE ADAMS-is now the champion potato peeler of the United States Army, thanks to the training that he received at Dean. IOE VALLETTA-is now the head coach at State Penn. BOB SCI-IALK-can be found as head of basketball at Dean Academy. He is also teaching English. DICK TORCHIA-is now the undisputed king of the Latin Lovers on the Hollywood screen.
