High Jump Broad lump DaSheS Hello, ladies G gentlemen, this is your sports predictor I. H. Talisk. Through intense study and research I have compiled numerous statistical data on the track squad of DeSoto High School. From this list of data I have acquired enough information to make the following predictions . 1 . Ierry Weber will run the quarter mile in less than 3 minutes . 2 . If Wayne Wendel starts the mile the first day of practice he will finish by the end of school. 3. Plumber will putt the shot fput it out of the coaches sight! . 4. Larry Motzkus will break all the hurdles in the school. 5. Ierry Reid will not have to dig a new high jump pit like he did last year. He's going to dig a new broad jump pit. 6. Val Finney will be rolled over the hill. 7 . Ron Lindsey will set many records with his long showers . 8. Carl Martinson will run so fast that he will have to have a horn installed to let people know he's coming. 9 . Adrian Davis is going to be a weight man fwait on the other fellow to cross the finish line firstl. 10. john McAninch will break his back when he tries to wear his letter sweater with all his medals on it. 11. In the broad jump, jim Talley will fall head first into the pit when he tries to stop just a leetle bit too late. 12. My prediction on Herman Sisk is that he is absolutely unpre- dictable .
