DEDICATION The members of the graduating class of nineteen hundred and sixty-three dedi- cate this edition of the ECHO to our parents. Our parents have been the most constructive force in our lixes. The men and women we shall be, will be directly affected, more than we realize, by the examples our parents have set before us. Through the observation of our parents we have developed many traits. We have watched our parents ' examples of how to live, how to treat other people, and the ways to be a successful individual in life. Although we may not have always agreed with our parents, we could sense that in their reasoning there seemed to be a deeper understanding of our problems than we ourselves had. Wliile disagreeing, we have found that many of the things our parents told us were more important than we realized. We still are not able to fully compre- hend the truth and understanding our parents have given us; but we have come to the place in life where we realize that we truly appreciate and lo e our parents. Therefore, as a small form of this appreciation, we dedicate our yearbook -- a labor of our own hands -- to those who have helped us and who have always done whatever they could for us. ECHO STAFF Karen Baxla, Karen Whitehair, J. Kaye Harley, Jim Walsh, Larry Moore, and Mary Moore, Advisor. HERE WE ARE FOR WHAT WE ' RE WORTH! ! As you can see, by this picture, this year ' s ECHO Staff was always in the hustle and bustle of things (with some encouragement from Mrs. Moore). Notice how neat and orderly we kept our files!? Oh, Boy! ! The Staff strongly urges that unless you have sturdy nerves, you not look through the pages of this book READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! But all kidding aside, we truly hope you enjoy this record of the 1962-63 school season in words and pictures. With the capable guidance of Mary Moore, we have tried to produce an annual which YOU will treasure in the years to come. BEST WISHES TO ALL OF YOU Sincerely, THE ECHO STAFF OF ' 62-63
