MR. TALBOT Mr. Talbot, our superintendent since February 6, 1951, came to De Soto from Marshfield, Missouri, where he had been superintendent for three and one half years. Before that he was in charge of the Camdenton School System. Under Mr. Talbot's supervision many improvements have been made in the De Soto Public Schools the largest achiev- ment being the construction of the new high school. I-lc did much vxork on the bond issue and also supervised he building of the school Mr Talbot belongs to the Uhi Delta Kappa a scholastic fraternity MRS JUNE BAKER Mr Culwell DHS principal for the past 9 MR H M TALBOT JUNE BAKER Mrs June Baker has been the secre tary in De Soto High School for the past eight years She is a graduate of De Soto High and has attendedW1ll1am Jewell Col lege She is also secretary of the De Soto Board of Education MR .I C CULWELL MR CULWELL 14 years came to De Soto High School in S taught science and mathematics In 1942 he assumed the duties of principal and algebra teacher I-'e is well liked not only by the stu dents but is respected by the members of the faculty He is an outstanding admin istrator his abilities are well known and praised by the townspeople and citizens of the De Soto area Mr Lulwell belongs to a number f professional organizations including the Princ1pal's Association of the United states Missouri and the Mineral Area He also is a member of the Jefferson County School Masters Club O :af- I N I e. . t A W . ,ah . . . -L f x , . i 4 . - r . .
