Reference Cal advised this Headquarters that the sub- ject cruise would be nominated for a Silver Anvil entry in the Public Relations Society of Americafs annually-spon- sored competition and requested comments on the cruise suc- L cess from the recruiter's point of view. Ref: 2. Statistics are not available at this time to substan- tiate the success of the cruise in regard to increased enlistments. However, the following information has been provided by the Director of Personnel, Headquarters Marine Corps: a.
