' Season Record: 3-2-1 The 1967-1968 football season proved to be a victorious one for the De Smet Spartans finishing with a record of three wins, two ties, and one loss. Considering the unavoidable delay in beginning prac- De Smet Opponents tice, the injuries sustained early in the season and the poor weather encoun- tered, this is a formidable record. And together with the able 0 Vianney 0 leadership and direction of Mr. O,Keefe the Spartans successfully began the history of football at De Smet.
