DECALLA DE QUINCY, LOUISIANA nb le of C otTfcnlj 2 ADMINISTRATION TIGER EXPRESS r TOI L J My message to the students of 1977 is much the same as it would have been in any era: Study to prepare thyself; work to justify thyself; and so live to redeem thyself. Our chief goal at DeQuincy High School is to strengthen and increase our academic level. With a strong and vigorous program of study, we feel that the social and cultural levels will, also, become exemplary. I am proud to be an administrator in DeQuincy—a community whose populace supports us at the polls on every issue. We feel their guid- ing support in other areas as well. I trust that our friends and parents will realize how deeply grateful we are for that kind of tribute. I would like to congratulate you, the student body, for your achieve- ments this year. Much you have given; therefore, much will be required of you as you leave. And now, on behalf of the faculty, our hope is that each of you will be able to say: It was good to have been here.
