Carlin is the salutatorian. June Riederer was only yloths behind. Class play Going Places was casted today. Those taking part will be as follows:Patricia Carlin, Juanita Garvin, Betty Peterson, Katherine Davis, Ardythe Mueller, Joe Tarsaewicz, Dorothy Selner, Dorothy Schreiner,- Robert Miller, Benedict Pagac, Donald McKinnon, and Sister Stilla will direct it. Thespians as before have shown that they can act. It seems a boy can act like a girl if he has to isn't that right Ray and Joe? Dorothy Schreiner, Benedict Pagac, Bert Feldmeier won the judges decisions, as the best performers. Congratulations! 7-11 Night Shift goes on as De Paduan Staff keeps night hours with pen, pencil, ruler, rubber ce- ment, paper cutter and typewriter. Even in the corridor St. Anthony helped to keep the big bad wolf away from our door. Pinky didn't fit in wolves clothing. Right Pinky? Pleasure Time featuring Fred Whrring and his famous orchestra was shown . Thank you Father Rapheal--1t was a pleasure to see it. 9 Easter Recess--Who said we're not glad. I have always liked Holy week. 11 -., De Paduan off to printersl Editor and staff go off for a rest. 9:30 P. M. 21-25 Semester tests and night mares. 24 Senior Mothers who held the Card Party get the Senior's thanks. All the public was invited and the benefits went to the annual. 25-27 Gym and Carnival Exhibition classes amazed the public with their athletic abilities. More in this exhibition tnen ever before. Congratula- tions Mr. Knoblauch on the splendid work. .ng- l Crowning of the May Queen. The most beautiful and impressive ceremony during the year, was The Crowning of Our Blessed Mother May first. This procession consisted of the May Queen and her twelve Senior attendants who were dressed in pastel gowns. There were 36 guards of honor consisting of 18 boys and 18 girls who formed a guard around the inside of the Church. In ad- dition to this there were 54 attending attend- ants. The remaining students were present and the Church was filled to capacity. As the stu- dents were singing I'll Sing a Hymn to Mary , our May Queen, Virginia Baker crowned our Holy Mother Mary. 6 Superior Rally, and I'll be seeing yout 76
