WAY BACK IN 1941 A.D. -SEPTEMBER- 3 About 300 De Paduans registered for school in- cluding 79 Freshmen eager and ready to begin high school life. Oh gee, do I HAVE to take Algebra? and similar complaints were heard. 4 First full day of school. Oopsl No, no Freshie you're in the wrong room. 207 is way down the other hall. What a day for the Freshies try- ing to get the number of the rooms straightened in their minds. 4 76 ,Lie1,2 , AgNM 4t 11 Elect on of chairmen and secretaries were held today in each home room for the respective com- mitties.There are eight committies:Eucharistio, Our Lady's, Social Life, Apostolic, Catholic- Truth, Publicity, Parish Loyalty, Catholic Stu- dent Mission Crusade. 15 Let's Get Together dance was held this even- ing, Courage Freshies: Jitterbug'n isn't as hard as it looks: Music was furnished by Hope Merry Makers. 17 Students enjoy their first assembly in the auv ditorium this afternoon. Father Alvin address- ed the entire student body. A movie was also shown on natural resources and travel means. 19 Belt: Come back here and go around! Say who is giving orders?!! Who?
