To Father John, our Pastor we owe more than we can ever be capable of repaying for the many un- told benefits he has given us, both material and spiritual. we realize his untiring and unselfish efforts in furthering our ultimate end to happiness--Catholic Education. Humbly we offer and express our deepest appreciation and loving tribute to his solicitude for our welfare. To Father Raphael, our instructor and Spiritual Guide we also owe unbounded gratitude. we emu endeavor to live up to the ideal which he has set up in our association with him. we realize that there will be many trials and obstacles during our journey of Life, therefore, we are most grateful and apprec- iative for the lessons he has taught us- an unlimited aid to attain our final end. To Father Alivin, Our Sodality Moderator, we pledge our love and loyalty.Through his un- selfish and uholdearted labor in the inter- ests of the sodalists, he has won thelnm and admiration of many. Having such a niend l and teacher will certainly help us in qply- ing the principles of religion in our daily life. we are proud to be sodalists under such a leader and therefore we offerlwm our deepest and sincerest tribute of gratitude. 10

TO THE FACULTY Another year at De Padue is being wafted into the annuals of the past. For some of us it is a final parting; but all of us retain the unmisted memories of'aweu spent year. we will remember it chiefly because of those with whom we have associated, especially the faculty. we dedicate this page to the faculty who has so carefully watched and glided our yamg lives with a. hulyCath- olic Education. we realize how much our teachers have done for us,meking our school life urns inter- esting, teaching us how to conduct ourselves in the every day happenings of daily life, inspiring the noblest that is in us, ready to give without a1ntb1g the cost. Now at last their work is done and um hqn and pray, that they will see us good Christian men and women leaders in Catholic Action through home business or social affairs. It would be more fitting if we would offer each member of the faculty an individual tribute of gratitude.0nly by doing this, can we do justice to the spirit in which they have offered us their services. These priests and sisters are truly our comrades. But since we cannot honor them as individuals, we honor So we them as one, for are they not one with us in the Mystical Body of Christ, as Christ has ordained7And this is also fitting for after all,the ultimate end of each is the same, namely; to teach us to loveani serve our Creator in whatever state of life we are, to perfect an all-eround unselfish character so that we can fit into any pattern of life, but especially that for which each individual yearns. say in all reverence and respect--a tributefrom the students to a splendid faculty. 12
