Oh, what a beautiful morning. Oh, what a beautiful day ... was sung by Chris Hendrich, sophomore, during this year's musical, Olkahoma. Many of the leads were given to underclassmen, which was a change from previous years. Julie Evans, Sibyl Pease and Dawn Sater , also underclassmen were cast as the other leads. Other things were also different. There was a new director, Ms. Meg Zauner. Ms. Zauner was in many performances herself, and attended Hamline University. Another new aspect was the introduction of after school practices instead of evening ones. There was some scheduling conflicts for students with jobs and those on sports teams. The show, Oklahoma, has been around for a long time and has been performed many times. De's version, produced with its own aspects was still an interesting show. Oklahoma 17
