Brother H. Mark, Brother Director of Dc La Salle, is right at home in his new post. He was the Director also at Price College, Texas, before coming to Dc in 1959. This is an excellent testimony of the respect the Order has for Brother’s leadership and administrative abilities . Originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, Brother Mark studied for the Brotherhood at St. Mary’s College in Winona. Brother has spent the past twenty-six years teaching at Dc La Salle, Chicago: St. Patrick's, Chicago; Price College, Amarillo; and Dc l.a Salle in Minneapolis. During his stay here, Brother has had a chance to observe the character of the school, and he is proud of its spirit and the cooperation shown him by the faculty and the student body. The combination of the magnanimous soul and the gifted mind of Brother Mark is not often duplicated. He has summed up his years of teaching by expressing what all men should feel in their hearts. Brother says, “I thank God for the graces given men in my vocation and for the many fine people with whom I have been associated in my work.” 13
