Death came to Archbishop William O. Brady of St. Paul in a Home hospital. The end came eight days after he was stricken with a coronary thrombosis attack Sept. 23, on board a plane en route to a Vatican meeting. Archbishop Brady was a suberb administrator, had a gentle heart and a brilliant mind, he was a zealous priest and an inspiring leader. He was a big man and showed his bigness in humble ways. The Archbishop was proudest of the Rosary Crusade and the Vocation Drive. His timely comments in his column Archbishop’s Observations and his drive for education in this diocese shall long be remembered. | MOST REVEREND WILLIAM O. BRADY. D.D., S.T.D., Archbishop of Saint Paul
