The ringed hand is a representation of God the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity. lt is symbolic of His great love and of His work of enlight- enment. The Holy Spirit completes the work of sanctifica- tion begun by God the Son. He is the guide and inspira- tion of all Chris- tians.
