We had several parties this year, starting out with a wiener roast at Sherrill C1oud's. RXIIIJBI' the football game and how many wieners the boys ate, kids? Then we put on our best bib and tucker and gave a dence for the Seventh Grade. It was quite an affair with all the deoorations and even programs for dancing. At Christmas we varied the rout1ne a little be go- ing oaroling and then having our gift exchange and refreshments at Mrs. Williams' . We wonder if the County Home and Hospital residents ever fully recovered from the effects of our carol- lng outside their w1ndows.J Our winter party, given in January, was a little different in that we had dancing, games, and moviesg followed by a saok lunch. f Some of the boys used hat sacks for their lunchesll The Eighth Grade boys who played on the Junior High Basketball Team were Bill Brenner and Danny Genan. Judy Lakin and Joyce Hampton led the cheering along with two Seventh Grade girls and they all made a mighty pretty picture.
