There were 370 students participating. Prizes were given to the people who sold the most bars. Ghirardelli gave the T. V. away as a prize. The people who won the prizes were as follows: Mike Demele, T. V. g David Johnson, 325. 005 Jerry Alaniz, Debbie Coons, Robin Horst, Kitty Koziba, LaVerne Leggett, Rayanna Lightner, Brian O'Hagan, Maria Perez, and Anita Warner, 310. O0 each. Fifty-one people won Deluxe yearbooks and 118 people won regular yearbooks. The sales started October 21 and ended November 1. The commissioners sponsored it because there was no Social Committee at that time. It started at 2:15 to 4:00. The party started off with a relay race, where everyone on a team had a toothpick in his mouth and passed a lifesaver from person to person with the toothpicks. After the relay race they had a coke and an ice cream sandwich. Then they had the rest of the time to dance and play ping pong.
